EQAbout usIn the throes of the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis and the 2000 economic slowdown in the West, American expat consultant Mr. Mark Prado had been adapting their businesses to the ongoing changes in the world, and after prolonged analysis and planning, decided to launch Export Quality Services Co., Ltd., in suburban Bangkok, Thailand, in 2002. Export Quality Services Co., Ltd., also known as EQ, set up its office near the Impact Exhibition and Convention Center, which is the largest in Southeast Asia, located in the beautiful and spacious Bangkok suburb of Muang Thong Thani ("gold city"), right off the expressway just 20 minutes from Bangkok's Central Business District. EQKEY MANAGEMENTMr. Mark Prado, co-Managing Director, is originally from Arkansas, USA. After receiving a B.Sc. in physics with minors in mathematics and political science, Mark moved to Washington, D.C., where he worked for the US Patent Office, then advanced planning in the U.S. space program, and finally as a communications consultant and entrepreneur. After 10 years in Washington, D.C., Mark was sent to Asia in 1994 for communications consulting (whereby Bangkok was the Asia Regional Office), but shortly thereafter switched to consulting for multinational companies in Asia, including involvement in the Thai property market from the foreign developer side.
EQ employs fulltime staff in various divisions including Information Technology (especially web design), import-export, language translation, and property. EQ also maintains relationships with consultants, agents, and strategic partners.
